OUR STORY
The Aspen Writers' Foundation is a nonprofit arts organization
that has been serving readers and writers since
1976. As Colorado's oldest nonprofit literary center, presenting
some of the nation's most prominent and promising authors, the
Aspen Writers' Foundation has established itself among the country's
foremost promoters of the literary arts. Join us for author readings,
workshops, writing retreats and much more!
OUR MISSION
The Aspen Writers' Foundation provides programs that encourage
writers in their craft and readers in their appreciation of literature,
and creates opportunities to bring readers and writers together.
We believe that reading and writing are essential, and that great
literature enriches our lives and creates understanding of ourselves
and others.
In this modern day -- when language is often a casualty of
a sound bite and gigabyte culture
